1. We compile statistics about lawyers and the legal profession. View a listing of the resources (including links).
2. We advise and consult individual ABA entities, such as the sections and divisions, who are interested in conducting research and desire more informed guidance or direction.
3. We spearhead large-scale research studies about lawyers, which then help the ABA deliver the most relevant products and services to its members. Past studies have assessed:
   • Satisfaction, awareness and usage of ABA products and services
   • Public perceptions of the justice system
   • Perceptions of the ABA
   • Emerging trends in the profession
   • Issues in the profession and workplace that are affecting lawyers
   • The needs of attorneys in various career stages and practice settings
