Elder law attorneys of any age are eligible to join the Senior Lawyers Division. Assist your aging clients and their families by receiving the latest information about changes to Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, advance healthcare directives, senior housing alternatives, guardianship issues, among other topics covered in this relatively new area of practice.

The Senior Lawyers Division also offers a wide variety of programs and services for attorneys who have been in practice for at least 25 years. Receive useful information on financial and estate planning, tax and insurance matters, law partnership and Of Counsel agreements, pro bono work, and second careers (mediation and public service), and other topics of interest to practicing senior lawyers.

Women Trailblazers in the Law Project

The Women Trailblazers in the Law Project is the only comprehensive nationwide project devoted specifically and exclusively to capturing, recording, and preserving the histories of pioneering women lawyers in their own voices and video images. The project will also serve as a central source of information on the location and availability of other existing oral histories of women in the profession. View oral histories.
